Hello!!

Hello friends, I have a new card today!!

Altenew_Inspiration-Challenge_AprilI am entering today’s card in the current Altenew’s challenge.

Here’s my card.

I used “Painted Flowers” set by Altenew for this card. I watercolored them using distress inks and highlighted it with Faber Castell’s polychromos pencils. I love how it turned out. I wanted to add some gold color and some texture so I added a lace on which I adhere my flowers and lastly added some sequins. The sentiment is also by Altenew from “Floral Motifs” set. Love these colors together. I love this particular stamp, each time you get different look, very very pretty. Hope you will like this simple card with all the pretty colors.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all very soon. Thank you for leaving lovely comments each time. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the beautiful inspiration picture at Altenew’s current Challenge.

Here’s my take.

IMG_0398I love that door and the distressed look of it, beautiful bright teal color with vintage look. For my card I used teal color card base and did second generation stamping using “Striped Floral” set by Altenew using Distress ink and cut it in two panels. After that I used a lace punched and cut out a strip from one of the gold with floral designed paper and inked it lightly with vintage photo Distress ink to tone down the bright golden color. I wanted something golden on my teal card panels also but I did not want to to emboss it and i do not have the gold ink pad so I tried something new. I used my Martha Stewart golden acrylic paint on the stamps and stamped it directly on my card panels and I love the look of it, It gave the sightly embossed with painted effect. I am so happy with this new experiment. I assembled my card and lastly added the sentiment from “Persian Motifs” set. Hope you will like my card.

Thank you so much for visiting and see you in few minutes with one more card. ๐Ÿ™‚

Week+143+-+Ombre

I am entering my card in few challenges

Here is my card

As I mentioned in my earlier post that I love all the vibrant colors of the inspiration picture of Altenew’s current challenge which is of Forbidden City – China. This time I die cut a few Scalloped circles from plain and gold card stock. I inked two of them with Memento and Distress inks and gave it gradient look. I wanted same ombre effect on my flowers as well, so I gold embossed the “Painted Flowers” third layer and inked it. I adhere everything with dimensions. I love all the bright colors yet the CAS design of my card. Hope you will like my card too.

Thank you all for stopping by and see you very soon.

You are incredible!!

Hello friends, I am back with a new card. ๐Ÿ™‚

inspiration-1This month’s challenge at Altenew blog is “Places from Abroad -The Forbidden City, Beijing, China” Beautiful picture, isn’t it? I love the vibrant colors and designs.

bouquetAlso entering for the current Curtain Call Challenge.

I came up with this card.

I love coloring as specially with my Prisma Colored Pencils ๐Ÿ™‚ For my card I choose one of my favorite Altenew Stamp Set “Persian Motifs”. I stamped one of the flower image on my card base and colored it with Prisma pencils. Just like the inspiration picture I wanted to add gold color but I wanted something very elegant to match up with my design, so I colored one card base with Martha Stewart’s Gold acrylic paint. After the paint was dried I punched few tiny flowers out of it and adhere it on my card base. Added the sentiment and adhere the front panel on the main card base. I Love how elegant it looks, as specially the gold color does not look too bright. Hope you will like my card.

Thank you all for stopping by and see you all very soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

I used the same paper and die cut it and adhere my flower on it, love how the flower looks against that textured paper. I used the gold glitter paper and few punched butterflies and lastly added some glitters on flowers. Love all the elements on my card, hope you will like my card too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Birthday…

Hello friends!!! Hope you all doing good, I was quite busy with my little one, can’t believe that she is already three months old, time flies so fast. ๐Ÿ™‚ I manage to create a card and share with you all.

february-2015-challengeI love this beautiful inspiration picture on Altenew’s February challenge. So very elegant, trendy and mixed of patterns and textures.

Also entering in current Seize The Birthday Challenge, the toppings are Hearts and/or Arrows.

Here is my take

I love Altenew’s beautifully designed stamps. For my card I used Persian Motifs, just love this artistic stamp. I embossed two of the flower images on a water color card base in gold. I love all the shimmer in that inspiration picture, so I colored my flowers using Martha Stewart’s Pearl paint which gives very beautiful shimmer and looks very elegant too. Also I gold embossed the sentiment and for some extra texture I added gold glitter paper strip and some punched hearts. I love the look of my card, it reminds me of chiffon saree. ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you will like this card.

I will be back soon with a new card. Thank you all for visiting. ๐Ÿ™‚
