Hello Friends, its time for another fabulous challenge at Simply Create Too. š The theme is “Shop your Stash”, yes no peeking at your brand new supplies. You have to use the pile of scraps which are lying around in your craft room.
Here is my card.
I love these type of challenges, so that way I can use my huge stack of scraps very creatively. For this card, I went through my scrap pieces and found these tags which made few months ago when I was experimenting with some watercolor,Ā I never waste anything so I was having few colors left on my block which I directly applied on a watercolor paper and got his fabulous effect, well I never used them but I saved it and I am so happy that I did. I got this card base which was already inked with Antique linen and Peacock Feather ink but for some reason I didn’t use that too, so I inked it with various Distress inks to match the colors of tag. After that I stamped this cute little flower image from “My Notebook” set by Hero Arts on the card base for some tone on tone look and also gold embossed it on the tag. The sentiment is also by Hero Arts. I was having this beautiful patterned paper which has these lovely golden design on it, I used that too on my card. Lastly some lovely pearls by Hero Arts. I love all these beautiful and bright colors on my card, I hope you will like this card too. Please stop at Simply Create Too blog for more inspiration.

Pile of scraps lying around in your craft room? What is that? :). Yes, I confess that I have lots of these that I would like to use some day, but they usually don’t fit in any project and I end up with more scraps. I’m also glad that you saved that beautifully colored tag… you seem to have a natural inclination for choosing the right colors:). And a gorgeous background, too.
