Hello friends, I am back with a new card.

Cure For The Monday Blues #3This inspiration picture at Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge #3 is so beautiful, isn’t it? It has everything, lots of bright colors, great patterns and yet it has clean and simple look. I just love it.

February Poppy SketchI also like this sketch by Laura Davis.

I came up with this card

I like the black and white patterns it has this doodle effect, I chose one of the stamp from “Brush Stroke” stamp set  and created a patterned square.  All the bright and beautiful cushions attract me the most in this picture. I added butterfly and three scalloped circles to match some of the cushion colors and designs. I inked the CG307- Sweet Threads Spirals with Distress ink and stamped it to match that floor lamp. Lastly stamped and embossed the sentiment from CL371 by Hero Arts on a vellum and adhere everything on my card. I like how my card turned out, hope you will like this card too.

Thank you so much stopping by and see you all very soon. 🙂

  1. Oh, Kanan, I do love your card! This is great for the Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge! The b&w pattern matches that gorgeous wall perfectly, and your beautifully inked butterfly and scalloped circles have the exact same colors of some cushions… 🙂

  2. Wonderful clustering of colours, elements and patterns – fabulous! Thanks so much for playing to Cure The Monday Blues!

  3. I love your card so much, I just pinned it. 🙂 The butterfly is gorgeous, and I think I am pretty much in love with the loosely adhered strips. Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
