Hello friends, hope you all doing good.

I made a holiday card today.

I used “Joyous” stamp by Penny Black for this card. I inked the stamp with various Memento inks and stamped it on a panel, after that I used few Distress inks to create the background. I love when Jill Foster use color pencils to highlight the stamped images, it adds more interest to the images, I also used few color pencils to highlight some of the stamped images. For the card base I applied Anitque linen Distress ink and stamped the flower image from the same set using the same ink, also on the edges I applied Vintage Photo Distress ink. Lastly applied some stickles. I love all the colors together and I guess the stickles makes the card more festive, what do you think? Hope you like it.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all soon.

  2. I love all the colors in the front panel and the effect of the background, Kanan. I’ve never Distressed and stamp with the same color, but I surely will… you achieved a very beautiful subtle background. Congratulations on the mention by Penny Black… Wow!
