Creative

Hello all, I am here with a brand new card. On Saturday there was a 90 minutes Scramble by Hero Arts and the most fun part of all this scramble was that I was hosting it. :-) And I made three cards and asked the super talented participant to select any of my card and get inspiration from it and create their own take.

Here is my card

For this card I stamped the butterfly images with layers. I inked the with Distress inks and sprinkled very little water and then stamped them on left side of my card base and after that added the matching card panel, I die cut all three butterflies and instead of stamping I inked the die cut butterflies and adhere them together and added some gems and embossed the sentiment. I really like the design and all the bright colors on my card. Hope you will like my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all in sometime as I am coming back with one more card. :-)

It’s a Special Day!!

Hello friends!!! Happy Sunday to all :-) I made a new card.

Week+143+-+Ombre

I am entering my card in few challenges

Here is my card

As I mentioned in my earlier post that I love all the vibrant colors of the inspiration picture of Altenew’s current challenge which is of Forbidden City – China. This time I die cut a few Scalloped circles from plain and gold card stock. I inked two of them with Memento and Distress inks and gave it gradient look. I wanted same ombre effect on my flowers as well, so I gold embossed the “Painted Flowers” third layer and inked it. I adhere everything with dimensions. I love all the bright colors yet the CAS design of my card. Hope you will like my card too.

Thank you all for stopping by and see you very soon.

You are incredible!!

Hello friends, I am back with a new card. :-)

inspiration-1This month’s challenge at Altenew blog is “Places from Abroad -The Forbidden City, Beijing, China” Beautiful picture, isn’t it? I love the vibrant colors and designs.

bouquetAlso entering for the current Curtain Call Challenge.

I came up with this card.

I love coloring as specially with my Prisma Colored Pencils :-) For my card I choose one of my favorite Altenew Stamp Set “Persian Motifs”. I stamped one of the flower image on my card base and colored it with Prisma pencils. Just like the inspiration picture I wanted to add gold color but I wanted something very elegant to match up with my design, so I colored one card base with Martha Stewart’s Gold acrylic paint. After the paint was dried I punched few tiny flowers out of it and adhere it on my card base. Added the sentiment and adhere the front panel on the main card base. I Love how elegant it looks, as specially the gold color does not look too bright. Hope you will like my card.

Thank you all for stopping by and see you all very soon. :-)

Imagine the possibility!!

Hello friends!! Yesterday I made a card for Hero Arts 90 minute Scramble which was hosted by Cat. :-)

Here is my card.

Love the theme and all the great techniques by Cat. She gave us total three techniques 1) Use embossing paste, folder or powder or yellow color or any bright colors 2) Make your own background with tone on tone look and 3) Use watercolor and along with any of these techniques use your Favorite technique or color or stamp anything. I tried to include all three techniques in my card, I stamped one of the stamp from the CL383 – Stencil Art stamp set on yellow card base with Mustered Seed Distress ink for tone on tone look. This Butterfly by Hero Arts is my all time favorite stamp and I gold embossed it and then used some watercolors to color it and added some pearls by Hero Arts to finish my card. Hope you will like my card.

Thank you so much for visiting and see you all soon. :-)

Hello!!

Hello friends, I made a new card today. :-)

ONP_6292Love the inspiration picture at Runway Inspired Challenge.

I came up with this card.

Love the beautiful design and bright colors of the inspiration picture. For my card I used stencil to create the background and various colors of Distress and Memento inks. I love that orange stockings, so I used My Favorite Things “Wild Flowers” stencil and modeling paste and created the flower with very thin layer as I wanted the transparent effect like the stockings, after the paste was dry I inked it with Distress inks. Added the sentiment by Hero Arts and some gems. Love how it turned out, specially that embossed flower. Hope you will like this colorful card.

Thank you so much for visiting and see you all very soon.

You’re Purr-Fect!!!

Hello Friends, hope you all are having a good week. I made a cute card today.

Challenge 23

I am going to enter this card in the current challenge of Avery Elle.

Here is my card

I just adore this new stamp set by Avery Elle called “Furry Friends”. This months challenge is about watercolor and for my card I first masked the background and used two shades of water colors to create the strips. I colored the cat image and the pet pillow using distress inks and water colors. I wanted to create a little scene where cat is dreaming about mouse, so for that I hand drew the thought bubble and stamped the mouse image into it and colored him using Distress marker. Finally added the sentiment which is so Purrrfect for the scene. ;-) hope you will like this cute card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all very soon.

Hello friends!!! I am back with a card which I made on Saturday for the Hero Arts Scramble which was held by sweet Charlene and she has given us very beautiful picture for inspiration.

I came up with this card.

I love all the pretty colors in the sky in that picture and so I created my sky with Distress inks. I stamped the little bicycle image from Hero Arts, the sentiment is also by Hero Arts. For stars I used my white gel pen. Love this night scene, specially that bike under that colorful sky. Hope this card will make you happy.

Hello friends!! I made a new card today.

I love this beautiful design, it looks so elegant. :-)

Week 140 - SpringI am also entering it into CASology challenge.

I came up with this card.

I used the “Painted Flowers” set by Altenew for this card. I love the inspiration picture, for my card I first watercolored the background with light pink color and used Memento and Distress inks for my roses, I only used two layers from the set for the roses. I cut them out and adhere them on my card with some dimensions and punched lace border. Lastly added the sentiment from “Persian Motifs” set and some sequins. Hope you will like my simple card.

Thank you all for stopping by and leaving sweet comments.
