Have a Great Day!!!

Hello friends!!! I am back with a new card.

Here is my card

I always love Penny Black stamps and today I made a card using one of my very favorite stamp “Bed of Roses”. I heat embossed the stamp image and then water colored the roses and leaves. I also water colored the background of my card base where I was going to adhere my roses and after that I adhere the roses and leaves using some dimension adhesive. finally added the glitter. The sentiment is also by Penny Black. Though it involves embossing  and watercolor still it was very easy and quick card. Hope you will like my card. :-)

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all very soon. :-)

I just love the Persian Motifs stamp and this time I colored one of the flower using Prisma Colored pencils. I was having the same patterned paper which you can see in the inspiration picture, few months back I made a white on white card using the same paper which you can see it here. I used the same paper and die cut it and adhere my flower on it, love how the flower looks against that textured paper. I used the gold glitter paper and few punched butterflies and lastly added some glitters on flowers. Love all the elements on my card, hope you will like my card too. :-)

Happy Birthday…

Hello friends!!! Hope you all doing good, I was quite busy with my little one, can’t believe that she is already three months old, time flies so fast. :-) I manage to create a card and share with you all.

february-2015-challengeI love this beautiful inspiration picture on Altenew’s February challenge. So very elegant, trendy and mixed of patterns and textures.

Also entering in current Seize The Birthday Challenge, the toppings are Hearts and/or Arrows.

Here is my take

I love Altenew’s beautifully designed stamps. For my card I used Persian Motifs, just love this artistic stamp. I embossed two of the flower images on a water color card base in gold. I love all the shimmer in that inspiration picture, so I colored my flowers using Martha Stewart’s Pearl paint which gives very beautiful shimmer and looks very elegant too. Also I gold embossed the sentiment and for some extra texture I added gold glitter paper strip and some punched hearts. I love the look of my card, it reminds me of chiffon saree. :-) Hope you will like this card.

I will be back soon with a new card. Thank you all for visiting. :-)

Happy Birthday and a good news!! :-)

Hello friends!!!!! :-) I am so excited today to be back to my creativity as I was away for quite a longgggg… time and well I was away for a very good reason. On 13th November me and my husband welcome our new bundle of joy. I am so delighted to share that we had a new baby girl and we named her “Sara”. Being a mother is very challenging but more importantly very rewarding. :-)

I made a birthday card using my favorite Penny Black stamp.

Here is the card

I used the cakes and wishes stamp set and colored my image using Prisma colored pencils. I water colored the background and tried to give the ombre effect. Embellished the card with punched butterflies on which I applied Martha Stewart’s glitter and also added some gems.  Love all the bright colors on my card.

Choose Beauty!!!!

Hello friends!!! It’s been long time since my last post. Finally I was able to make one card.

V. V. Challenge #5 (2)

I am submitting this card for the current challenge at Virginia’s View which is all about Die-cut.

Here’s my card

I just love this card as for the first time I made those beautiful flower embellishments. I first die-cut few flowers using Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die. I made two tiny roses using smallest flower die and made one big flower using small and medium die. I inked them with Memento and Distress inks and added glitters and Glossy Accents for more natural look (I wanted to show the dew drop effect on that big flower). I also made few vines using paper stripes and Distress ink.  After that I die-cut scalloped edge label using Spellbinders die. Stamped few images using Hero Arts (My Favorite, CG292,  Remember) and Tim Holtz stamp and inked it with Distress inks. I wanted the collage effect on it. Adhere all the flowers and hand made vines on that panel. For the background I inked up the burlap panel and also inked up one patterned paper. Adhere everything g on card base and applied lots of gold glitter using sickles. I love all the bright colors and those flowers. Hope you will like this card.

Thank you for visiting and leaving sweet comments. See you all soon. :-)

Sending Happy Thoughts!!

Hello friends!! I created a new card yesterday for Hero Arts 90 minutes Scramble and it was hosted by Laura. She has given very bright and happy theme. It was all about stars.

Here’s my card.

I always love to create night scenes on cards. I love the star theme and for my card I created the background with Memento inks and used the stencil for the stars. The Owl is from CL305 set by Hero art and so the sentiment. I used this particular stamp after quite a few months. I colored the owl using Prisma pencils. I applied the Martha Stewart’s glitters on each star. I love this color combination for the night scene and all the those stars. Hope you will like this card too.

Thank you all for stopping by and always leaving sweet comments. I will be back soon with a new card.

I’M Here For You!!

Hello friends!! Its time for another challenge at Simply Create Too blog. The current challenge is to highlight your sentiment, right the main focus on your card should be your sentiment. Click here for more details and inspiration.

Here’s my card

I used my favorite Mimi stamp from “Jumbo Love” set by Penny Black. I wanted to create a cute scene, so for that I took one patterned paper from American Crafts Dear Lizzy collection which was pretty much plain, I drew a wall patterned on it and colored it with Prisma Pencils. In this set there is this cute images of Mimi and Miles and they both are sitting on an elephant. I stamped them twice and colored them with Prisma pencils and cut them separately and adhere them on the brick wall. The sentiment is from Studio G, I just love the fonts of this sentiment and I guess it goes well with the scene, what do you think?? Added some punched hearts and glitters. Hope you will like this card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you soon. :-)
