Jasleen Kaur
I’m Jasleen residing in Pune, India with my husband, two daughters and a cat. A passionate card maker, a watercolourist and an amateur embroidery artist, my card-making journey began in 2013 after I came across a few quilled greeting cards while surfing the internet and I quickly got hooked to card-making. I love the idea of conveying across an emotion or a sentiment with as little as possible and therefore, I’m more inclined towards CAS (clean and simple) style of card making. Although I work part-time as a Freelance Medical Editor, my true ‘happy hours’ are when I would be spotted on my craft table playing with paper, stamps, dies, inks, watercolours or embroidery threads, sometimes accompanied by my little girls. On a relaxed day, as much as I love curling up with a good book, I enjoy spending time in nature going on road trips and hiking trips with family.
I feel so blessed to have come across so many like-minded folks (life-long friends) through this wonderful card making community. I’m grateful to Kanan for giving me this opportunity to share my work with the craft community through her amazing blog. I hope you find something useful to take away from my work.
