Beautiful Day!!

Hello friends!! I am here with a new card.

Love the very traditional color combination of the current Altenew Monthly Challenge.

Here’s my take.

I always love the color combination of green and red, they look so festive!! For this card again, I used one of my favorite stamp set “Watercolor Wonders” by Altenew. I used “Barn Doors” Distress ink for flowers and stamped the first layer directly on the watercolor panel and went over with a wet brush and highlighted some of the area with more or less color. Took the same color for the second layer but this time I sprayed some water using a spray bottle after inking the stamp and then stamped it, I got more saturated look. Did same with rest of the flowers and leaves (For leaves used “Peeled Paints“Distress ink). Added some splatters using the same inks. The Sentiment is from the “Floral Frames” set. Lastly, added some sequins, and “Wink of Stella” glitter pen on flowers and adhered the whole panel on a card base. I really love how it turned out, I can never get enough of this stamp set. Hope you will like my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by see you all soon. 🙂

Altenew Monthly Inspiration Challenge – July 2017

Word Art Wednesday – Ch# 292-293 – Anything Goes

Hello!!

Hello everyone!! I am here with a new card.

Love this beautiful picture at Altenew’s current monthly challenge inspiration and gorgeous card by Debby, Lovely soft colors!!

Here’s my take.

I colored the flower from the “Beautiful Day” set few months ago during the 30 Day Coloring Challenge by Kathy. I wanted to achieve the white flower look with no line coloring technique. This was my first try and I loves the result. I never used that flower so when I saw this beautiful inspiration picture I thought to use it. White embossed the leaves and buds images from the same set and colored them using copic colors, zig markers and Artists Loft Watercolors and fussy cut them. I water colored the background using the zig makers and Artists Loft Watercolors and used stitched die on edges. Adhered everything on the panel. Lastly, added some sequins and some wink of stella shimmer pen on flowers. The sentiment is white embossed and it is from the “Hennah Elements” set. I love how the water colored background turned out!! Hope you will like my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all soon. 🙂

Happy Birthday!!

Hello friends!! I am back with a new card.

I am entering my card in the current The Flower Challenge – Anything Goes.

Here’s my card.

I used one of  my most favorite stamp set by Altenew “Watercolor Wonders” for this card. To achieve more natural look, I inked the images with Distress inks and sprayed it very lightly with water and stamped it on a card base. I did not use watercolor paper for this technique so I press it for few seconds so the inks get soaked in the paper properly. Also, I did not wanted the look of wet on wet effect which you get if you use watercolor paper but on normal card stock it looks more of a dry brush painting kind of look. I love this color combinations a lot. The sentiment is from “Persian Motifs” Set. Added some matching sequins and splatters. Love the clean and simple yet brightly colored flowers on the card. Hope you like my card too.
Thank you for stopping by and see you soon. 🙂

Have a Fabulous Day!!

Hello friends as promised I am here with another card. Please click here for my previous post.

I am entering it to the current a2z Scrapbooking monthly challenge.

Here’s my card.

I die cut scalloped edge circles for my card base and also die cut this beautiful pattern paper from “Forever Green” paper pad by Prima for my background. Since the background was all black and white I chose to white embossed the butterfly from the Hero Arts DC134 “Stamps and Die-cut Butterflies” set. and inked it using some bright colored Distress inks. Also, die cut the tiny butterflies and inked it using the same inks. Adhered everything on the card base and added the matching sequins. The sentiment is also from the same set and white embossed it on a hand-cut tag. I love those bright colors of butterflies against that pretty patterned paper. Hope you will like my card. 🙂

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all soon with a one more card.

What’s Up?

Hello everyone!! I am here with a card which I made a week ago but only get time now to post it on my blog. I made this for the Hero Arts 90 Minute Scramble. The theme was to create a masculine card, use a different card size other than A2 size and decorate a envelope.

I thought my card is perfect for the current a2z Scrapbooking Blog challenge “Take Shape”.

Here’s my card.

I used Hero Arts – CL261 stamp set for this card.I inked the background of the card base with Distress ink and sprinkle some water drops. The images were colored using Crayola’s Fine Line markers. Since it was a masculine card I kept it simple. I was having only this envelope available with me and its bit bigger in size but I used it anyway and stamped the same images on it. I really love the background and simple images on it. Hope you will like my card too.

Thank you so much for stopping by and stay tuned as I am coming back with two more card. 🙂

Happy Birthday!!

Hello friends!! I am here with a new card.

I am entering my card for the current Case This Sketch challenge.

Here’s my card.

I colored the adorable images from Simon Says Stamp’s “Abby’s Spring Showers” set and “Baby Party Animals” set using polychromos pencils. I wanted to create a cute scene where bunny and bear are going to a party with a present sitting in a umbrella. 😛 I love how it turned out. Inked the small panel using Distress ink and added some water drops for the awesome effect. Also, added shimmer using “Wink of Stella” pen. I am also adding this card to the current “Birthday Bash” Challenge of SSS Flickr group. Hope you will like my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all soon. 🙂

You Are Amazing!!

Hello friends!! I am here with a new card.

It’s the final stage at CASometery Challenge – Stage 3 by Anna. I participated first time in this fabulous challenge and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a clever challenge.

Here’s my card.

For the final stage, we have to use the stamps/die which we have already used for one of the previous stages. I chose “Addie’s Garden” stamp set by Winnie & Walter’s stamp set which I used for the stage 1. This time I chose much lighter shades and kept my card clean and simple. I used Zig markers to color the flower and the background (which is colored with cool grey color). The sentiment is by SSS. Added some shimmer on flower with Wink of Stella clear glitter pen. I added some sequins and patterned paper to add more interest. I did not use any geometric shape for my first stage which I realized only now. :O. But, I must say I enjoyed a lot playing in this fabulous challenge. Thanks Anna for all the inspiration. 🙂

These are all the cards which I made for CASometry Challenge – Stage 3
