Hello friends!! I am here with a new card.

I am entering the current “The Flower Challenge” along with few other challenges.

Love all the soft yet bright and happy colors of the current “Curtain Call Challenge” inspiration picture.

Here’s my card.

I got this dies from Simon Says Stamp “Single Roses” few days ago and wanted to use it. I dies cut flowers and leaves. I used Distress inks to color these flowers and leaves. I colored the border of those flowers and leaves with darker shade and went with the same ink applying very lightly on the inside of flowers and leaves. I inked the background using Peacock Feather Distress ink. Arranged all the dies cuts on the card base. The sentient is also a die cut from SSS “Painted Hello” which I die cut and inked using the Distress ink. Finally added some sequins and stickles. I love the bright yet simple look of this card. Hope you will like my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all very soon. 🙂

For today’s special day I made a birthday card!!

I think a birthday card is incomplete without some balloons. I used the lovely “Balloons” stamp set by Mudra’s Jan release for my card. I stamped the balloons using Distress inks and went on the image with a wet brush and highlighted some of the area using more inks. I then colored around the balloons using lightest grey zig marker. I stamped the adorable ostrich image from the “Feathered Love” stamp set by Mudra which I colored with polychromos pencils. The sentiment is from “Beautiful Butterflies” stamp set which I stamped and cut in a banner shaped and added on the panel. For more interest I die cut the bottom of the panel using Simon Says Stamp’s die. I added the patterned paper on the card base and then added the top panel on it with some foam tape. Lastly added some gems. I love those lovely balloons and that adorable ostrich.

Your next stop on the hop is lovely, Ria Banerjee (She has something very beautiful to show you on her blog). If you got lost, please go back to the Mudra blog.

I am so happy to be part of Mudra Creative Team!! I love all the beautiful designs Mudra offers. It is so lovely to work with all the talented and hard working group of ladies. Huge congrats to Varshitha and all the members of the team. “Happy 1st Brithday, Mudra!! And many more years to come.”

Thank you so much for visiting. 🙂

You Are Amazing!!

Hello friends!! I am here with a tag today!!

Beautiful inspiration at Tag You’re It Challenge by Maureen Marritt

Here’s my Tag!!

The 30 Day Coloring challenge has been started by amazing Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker and I hope I find some time everyday to color something. Today I created this tag using beautiful stamp set “Sketch Ranunculus” by Simon Says Stamp. I white embossed and water colored it using Distress inks and Zig markers. Arranged them on a tag which I created using patterned paper and card stock. I also used the scalloped stitched edge die by Simon Says Stamp on the tag for more interest. Added some splatters on the background and arranged all the flowers and leaves on it. The sentiment is also from the same set. Lastly added some twine and sequins. I love all the colors on my tag. I hope you will like this too.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all soon. 🙂

Sending Hugs and Happy Thoughts!!

Hello everyone!! I am here with a new card.

Beautiful color combinations of the current Altenew challenge.

Here’s my take!!

I got this beautiful stamp from Altenew “Floral Frames” few days back and thought to use for this card. I masked the main floral image and stamp the two leaves images. I colored them using many mediums. I first colored the flowers with the lightest shade of pink Distress ink and after that used Gelatos for a little darker tone, same did for leaves with using greens. After that I highlighted part of the images with Polychromos pencils. I used the zig marker to color the background and did the wet on wet technique. I adhered the front to panel on a card base and added doily on the bottom and right corner of the card for more texture and interest. The sentimet is also by Altenew “Beautiful Day” set. Added some matching sequence. Love that the design and stamping go so well with the long sized card. It looks like a wedding invitation card to me, what do you think?

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all very soon. 🙂

Word Art Wednesday – Ch#268-269 – Anything Goes

Hello friends!! It’s time for the brand new challenge at the Simply Create Too blog. The new challenge is all about “Love”.

Here’s my card

I first water colored the portion of the background using Zig markers. After that I hand stitched chevron pattern using Amy Tangerine’s stitching stencil. I love how it adds a little more texture to it. The main image is from Penny Black’s “Jumbo Love” which I colored using polychromos pencils during  the last 30 day coloring challenge. The sentiment is also by Penny Black. Lastly assembled the card using some patterned papers and some sequins. Hope you like this bright card with those adorable images.
