Cascading Floral Card – Varada Sharma Designs.

Hey everyone, Today I am here with floral card which I made using “Blooming For You” April 2022 release by Varada Sharma Designs. Gorgeous floral collection and amazing cut files.

Here’s my card,

I used Cascading Florals – Slimline stamp set for this card. I printed the image on a mixed media paper. I used zig markers to watercolour this whimsical floral image. I used bright shades of pink, orange, green and yellow and purple.  Though this is a slimline floral design, I wanted to use it on a standard card size which I usually prefer to make. I inked the card base using Distress ink. I added the image to it with dimensions. The fun part of using a digital stamp is that you can resize it. Love how it looks so perfect on my card, don’t you think? Added the sentiment from the “Framed” stamp set. I love how it turned out. Bright and beautiful.
Thank you so much for visiting. Hope you will like my card.

Flower Thank You Card – Varada Sharma Designs

Hey everyone, this is Kanan from ifeelglee. Today I am here with another floral card. which I made using “Treasured Heart” February 2022 release by Varada Sharma Designs.

This collection has such fabulous designs.

Here’s my card,

I used Treasured Heart stamp set for this card. I printed the flower and leaves on a mixed media paper. I used Zig markers to watercolour these beautifully designed images. I used warm shades of red, orange and yellow for the flower. For the leaves I used shades of teal. I deliberately left puddles of colour on some of the petals and leaves for that artsy effect. I love the results as it also creates effects of shading.  For the sentiment I used the Cuppa Love stamp set. When you make CAS cards but still need a little bit of texture to your card then scoring is the best technique you can use. I scored the card base and adhered everything on my card. Added splatters and gem stones to finish it off. Love the CAS look yet the bright colours of the flowers.

Floral Note Card – Varada Sharma Designs.

Hey everyone, this is Kanan from ifeelglee. Today I am here with another floral card

which I made using “New Beginning” January 2022 release by Varada Sharma Designs.

I am in love with this collection, so fabulous designs.

Here’s my card,

I printed out the “Flower Arrangement – 2” stamp on a mixed media paper. I used Distressed inks in the shades of orange, yellow and red to watercolour this beauty. I also coloured the background, especially around the edges of the image using a grey zig marker for adding some depth and dimension, splattered some drops using black watercolour on the card panel around the image.  Die cut the panel for some extra interest and added it on a grey card base. I skip the sentiment for this card.  You can print your favourite images, colour them and have your cards ready and add sentiments whenever you need one. This is the big advantage of floral cards as you can add any sentiment for any occasion and that way you always have something ready.

Thank you so much for visiting. Hope you will like my card.

A Festive Card – Varada Sharma Designs.

Hey everyone, this is Kanan from ifeelglee. Today I am going to share a festive project which I made using “Peace And Joy” November 2021 release by Varada Sharma Designs.

Beautiful release with the feel of winter and holiday season.

Here’s my card

For my card I used “Doodled Wreath” stamp set. I printed the stamp and sentiment on a paper. Watercolor the beautiful wreath using Zig markers and highlighted it using Polychromos pencils. I used green, red and golden, all the traditional colours of Christmas. I cut the wreath image and added some foam squares. On a kraft card base I splattered some gold acrylic paint and added my wreath on it. Added lots of sequins, gem stones on and around the wreath. Lastly, added the sentiment from the same set. Love this festive card and colours so much.
