Beautiful!!

Hello friends!! Today I am here with slightly new to me project!!

I always wanted to get into scrapbooking since my daughter born but it never happened until I saw this pretty sketch on Altenew Scrapbooking blog and thought to give it a try.

Here’s my take.

This layout is very special for me not only because it’s my first but also because I have used my daughters picture which I took in the first week after she was born (She is now three, yes it took me a long time πŸ˜‰)I started stamping the images from the “Sketchy Flowers” and “Wild Hibiscus” as they look pretty similar. To color them I used Zig markers, I wanted warm colors so used pink, orange and yellow shades. Added few flower with dimension for more interest. I added the picture,Also, added some splatters. For the embellishments using patterned papers and stickers. The main sentiment is from the “Charmed” set by Altenew.Β  I kept it really simple, hope you will like my layout.

I would really appreciate your comments and suggestions on my layout. Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all soon. πŸ™‚

Birthday Wishes!!

Hello friends!! I have a new card to share with you all.

This year I have tried to play in almost all Altenew Monthly Inspiration challenges except one or two.

April challenge is one of the challenges I missed. Beautiful lovely colors.

Here’s my take.

I used the “Garden Treasure” and “Floral Motifs” sets for this card. Colored the images using Zig markers and Distress inks. Used the same colors on the card panel to make the splattered background and adhered all the images with some dimension. The sentiment id from the “Floral Frames”Β  To finish the card I added some sequins and added glitter on the flowers and leaves using clear glitter pen “Wink Of Stella” pen. Love how this card turned out, clean and simple yet bright with those colors together.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving lovely comments on my post, it really means a lot to me. Have a fabulous New Year!! πŸ™‚

Thank You!!

Hello friends!!! I am back with a new card.

I make one more card for the current Altenew July Monthly Challenge.

I am entering my card in the current Virginia’s Summer Blog Party.

Here’s my card.

I got the “Garden Treasure” set by Altenew few days back and I wanted to play with it. I did little bit of masking and stamped all the pretty images using Distress inks. The one leaf on the top right is from “Peony Bouquet” stamp set. I wanted two leaves facing other direction so used the similar leaf image from that set. Colored the rest of the images using watercolors, distress inks and Memento inks. I colored the background very lightly using red and green color, these two colors complements each other so well. The sentiement is from “Adore You” set by Altenew. Added some splatters and sequins and “Wink of Stella” glitter pen and my card was done. I cut the front panel with a decorative edge scissor with an angle to add little bit of interest. Love how it looks simple yet bright.

Thank you so much for stopping by see you all soon with a new card.

Hello!!

Hello everyone!! I am here with a new card.

Love this beautiful picture at Altenew’s current monthly challenge inspiration and gorgeous card by Debby, Lovely soft colors!!

Here’s my take.

I colored the flower from the “Beautiful Day” set few months ago during the 30 Day Coloring Challenge by Kathy. I wanted to achieve the white flower look with no line coloring technique. This was my first try and I loves the result. I never used that flower so when I saw this beautiful inspiration picture I thought to use it. White embossed the leaves and buds images from the same set and colored them using copic colors, zig markers and Artists Loft Watercolors and fussy cut them. I water colored the background using the zig makers and Artists Loft Watercolors and used stitched die on edges. Adhered everything on the panel. Lastly, added some sequins and some wink of stella shimmer pen on flowers. The sentiment is white embossed and it is from the “Hennah Elements” set. I love how the water colored background turned out!! Hope you will like my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all soon. πŸ™‚

You Are Amazing!!

Hello friends!! I am here with a new card.

It’s the final stage at CASometery Challenge – Stage 3 by Anna. I participated first time in this fabulous challenge and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a clever challenge.

Here’s my card.

For the final stage, we have to use the stamps/die which we have already used for one of the previous stages. I chose β€œAddie’s Garden” stamp set by Winnie & Walter’s stamp set which I used for the stage 1. This time I chose much lighter shades and kept my card clean and simple. I used Zig markers to color the flower and the background (which is colored with cool grey color). The sentiment is by SSS. Added some shimmer on flower with Wink of Stella clear glitter pen. I added some sequins and patterned paper to add more interest. I did not use any geometric shape for my first stage which I realized only now. :O. But, I must say I enjoyed a lot playing in this fabulous challenge. Thanks Anna for all the inspiration. πŸ™‚

These are all the cards which I made for CASometry Challenge – Stage 3

Also entering into the current A Blogged Named Hero Challenge. πŸ™‚

Here’s my card.

My New Year’s resolution was to use those unused beautiful stamps which I already have. This Hero Arts stamp set is one of those lovely stamp set. When my card making journey started I bought this stamp set along with few other pretty sets. I have used this set a lot i those days and it is still dear to my heart. The Stage -2 of CASometry Challenge by Anna is all about 1 Randon Stamp set + using one stamp minimum 3 times. I chose this cute set by Hero Arts “Kiss For The Sun” and stamp the branch image three times in different direction by changing the position. Added all the sweet images from the same set and colored everything using zig markers. The sentient is also by Hero Arts “Stamp & Cut Butterflies” set. I hope you like my take and get inspired.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see all very soon.

Let’s Meet For Coffee Soon!!

Hello friends!! I am back with a new card.

Love all the warm colors of the inspirational picture of Altenew’s Monthly inspirational challenge.

Here’s my take.

I wanted to use this beautiful “Coffee Love” stamp set by Altenew for quite a long time. Finally got opportunity to use for this card. Also, I used the cute floral images from “Hello Sunshine” set. I water colored all the images using Zig markers in the shades of yellow, orange and pink. On a water color panel I splatter some black color using a brush. I wanted to make it very simple and so I did not used any embellishment or other colors on my card. But still to add some interest and texture I added a jute twine on the top of the panel. I really love how it turned out and how those images look bright against that splattered background. Hope you will like my card too.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all soon. πŸ™‚
