About the Auhor

Deepti Aggarwal

Hello there, it’s Deepti! I was born and raised in Delhi/NCR (India), then moved to Bangalore after getting married, and now I am currently residing in Brussels, Belgium with my husband and two daughters. By profession, I am a UX Designer, but crafting is my true passion.

My crafting journey started as a kid when I used to carve potatoes or use veggies as a stamp to make handmade cards for my family and friends. I am sure most of you have done that at least once (I am talking about 80’s kids). But it was not until I created my blog in 2010 that I started sharing my love for craft with the world. It all started with quilling, and then I stumbled into the world of card making. Since then, there was no looking back. I have been making cards, scrapbooks, mixed media arts, and more.

I am a versatile crafter who loves to try her hand in different crafting techniques and materials. However, in the last couple of years, I’ve been hooked on stamping and die-cutting. I don’t have a particular style as I love to experiment with different styles, but over time I’ve noticed that I prefer it simple, more towards the CAS side. My cards are colorful, bright, and I love using rainbow colors. I’m a big fan of cute critters, and my craft stash is full of critter stamps, along with a couple of floral stamps.

Apart from crafting, I love cooking, baking, and traveling. I am an avid learner. Recently, I started my digital illustrator journey along with my girls, which we share on Instagram as doodly_squad. My dream is to draw my own critters.

I am so honored to be a guest designing for Kanan and looking forward to sharing my creativity with you all. Stay tuned for my upcoming creation, which will be released this week. Follow me on social media to see more of my work and stay up to date with my latest projects.

Hugs xx ~ Deepti
